Sixth arrest in RAF Fairford plot; PM cites Iran indications
British police made a sixth arrest in the suspected RAF Fairford plot on Thursday, detaining a 27-year-old dual UK-Iranian national in Westminster on suspicion of preparation of terrorist acts; another person was questioned under caution. The prime minister now says there are "strong indications" Iran was involved. The five men arrested near the base on Sunday remain on Terrorism Act bail under investigation; petrol but no explosives were found in their three vans.
The base has hosted U.S. B-1 bombers flying missions against Iran. Trump has questioned the releases, and Iran denies involvement.
